Sunday Services
Come as you are.
We're a community of real people. We have imperfect, messy lives, but we are pursuing and experiencing a transforming relationship with Jesus and with each other.
Everybody is welcome here whatever your story, your questions, doubts, or struggles. We’re all about doing life together in community, being intentional about our growth as people, serving one another, and serving the local communities of Cirencester and beyond. We want to invite you to one of our Sunday gatherings to experience our community of Jesus-followers authentically engaging the God we love!

Each Sunday, we have three services for you to choose from.
-
Our 9am service is a quieter service of prayer, worship, teaching and communion.
The service usually lasts one hour, and we sing from song books.
There is time for coffee, tea and fellowship at the end of the service served in the Cafe.
-
Our 10:30am service is our family worship service. It’s a larger service than the other two, usually with about 350 adults and children of all ages. It’s also streamed here: https://www.cirencester-baptist.org/online-church
We are usually together for the first part of the service, then there are children’s groups available after about 30 minutes into the service.
We usually have a communion service on the third Sunday morning of each month.
We have an all age worship service once a month.
-
Our 6:30pm service is our ‘Informal Service’.
We meet to worship, to pray, for teaching, prayer ministry and coffee & tea.
There is a separate teaching programme for the evening services, although the subject is often the same as in the morning service.
We do not currently offer a children’s programme or crèche facilities at the evening service.
Every so often we run a ‘Extended Worship Evening’, with time to reflect, worship, pray and listen to God.

A Warm Welcome
As soon as you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly Welcome Team.
During the service
Most of our worship services will consist of music & singing, times of prayer & reflection, teaching & response
After the Service
When the service finishes, we’d love for you to stay for tea, coffee, and a chance to chat. It’s a great way to meet new people and feel at home.
CBC Kids/Youth Groups on Sundays
During our 10:30 service, children and youth stay with the whole church family for the first part of the service, joining in worship and prayer together.
After this, they head to their age-specific groups, where our passion is to help them discover the love of God in ways that are fun, engaging, and right for their age and understanding.
What Should I Wear?
There’s no dress code! Most people wear casual clothes, but if you like to dress up a little, that’s absolutely fine too. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable.
