Cirencester Baptist Church stand with and support Home For Good, a Christian charity longing to see all Churches rise up and foster or adopt children who need a ‘Home for Good’.

James 1:27 in the Bible says ‘Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress.’

Every 22 minutes a child is taken into care. Very few of these are orphans but there are now more children in care than ever before. Around 70% of these children have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse and they need a loving family to look after them either temporarily through fostering or forever through adoption.

We encourage the whole church to wrap around and support those families who do adopt or foster.

At CBC, we have welcomed fostered and adopted children, we pray for them and show our love for them and their families through giving gifts and meals when they arrive and on going support throughout placements. Our whole church family has embraced ‘Home for Good’.
