CBC is a growing family. Going away together for a weekend allows us to build friendships and our walk with God in a focussed way that could take months back home. Join with us for 48 hours of family building and faith building as CBC goes on its first weekend for 15 years.
Our speaker for the weekend will be Mark Bonnington, Senior Leader at King’s Church, Durham (Phil Trainer’s previous church). He has taught New Testament in Durham and Leeds and been Senior Leader at King’s since 2001. He is married to Ruth, a GP in Gateshead, and their three children are around University age. In his spare time he builds stuff and swims.
John Marrow who led the children’s work at our away day at Minchinhampton in 2012 will again be leading our children’s work.
Bob & Naomi will lead the young people’s work, activities similar to those at Viney Hill, i.e. climbing wall, high ropes, low ropes, caving, archery, big bounce, will be on offer on the Saturday.
There will be a crèche for under 3s
