Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. This is a call to worship Him every day of our lives, in every aspect of our lives, with everything that we have and all that we are. Worship is full-time!
When we gather together as Christians on Sundays and at other times during the week, the worship of our lives joins together with other ‘full-time worshippers’ in a wonderful celebration of God and all that he has done for us. When followers of God are gathered throughout the Bible and history their worship is often expressed through singing together. We join with Christians across the world and across history as we worship God through music and singing.
At CBC we are privileged to have a large team of musicians and singers who help lead us in sung worship. At the 9am the singing is accompanied by one or two musicians and a group of musicians usually lead us in worship at the 10.30am and 6.30pm. We try to maintain a good balance of classic hymns, contemporary songs and all-age worship songs from a variety of sources and ages.
