A Jumbulance will be in St James’ Place car park (next to the leisure centre)from 9.30 on Saturday morning until about 4pm.
The Children’s Ministry collection is going towards funding a day trip for children at Paternoster school in June. Enabling children to have a day trip which might otherwise not be able to happen. The Jumbulance is fitted with equipment to help children and adults go away, when normally this would not be possible. This is an opportunity for you to take your child to see what this converted coach is like, maybe go and pray on it too, and help them to visualise what they are raising the money for.
It would also be great if any of you could spare an hour to shake a tin around the town to help raise more funds – Rich Field is co-ordinating this. He says….
“We need adults or at least over-16s as CDC set some very tough rules on us, or over-14s with a supervising adult. But if the younger ones want to come and have a look around the more the better”
If you’re able to help please can you contact him on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone on 01285 650606.
We are also going to be having a cake sale to raise funds for the Jumbulance day out on March 18th after the church service. More details to follow…
It will be great to see as many of you as can make it on Saturday,
Prayers that the day goes well would be really appreciated,
