We have a growing young adult and student-aged community here at CBC. We welcome young professionals, students at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, young adults on internships, students who live in Cirencester during holiday times and then head to university during term times, and all others in this age bracket are working, finishing at college, looking for work, unemployed or simply figuring out what to do next!
Living life as a Christian at this time can be so exciting, but also challenging, and you are not alone. There are plenty of ways to get to know one another at CBC, to grow in our faith in Jesus together as well as have fun!
Monthly Young Adult Night
On the third Wednesday of each month, we host a combined Young Adults Gathering in the Coxwell Room, in place of 18-30s house groups those weeks. All are welcome! 7:30pm start in the Time Out Cafe for drinks, then through to the Coxwell Room at 8pm for worship, testimony, a short talk, discussion and prayer.
We do have two specific housegroups for this age-group which meet on Wednesday evenings most weeks. We spend time together chatting, drinking coffee, worshipping, reading and studying the Bible through different themes and praying for one another and challenging one another to live for Jesus.
If you’re interested in finding out more, contact Robyn & Phil Trainer via the church office, who run one of the groups and the monthly gatherings.
CBSingles is a group for unmarried people aged 20-40. Their vision is to have fun and make friends and to have a place where Christian singleness can be the norm.
Some of their recent socials have included a trip to Cheddar Gorge, outdoor cinema, a treasure hunt, a bring and share supper and a barbecue.
They would love to see you at one of their events. To get in touch contact Jessy Price or search “CBSingles” on Facebook.
