We preach Christ Crucified - 1 Cor 1 v 23
We have made this banner as a gift to the church in Samalia, Moldova. Our prayer is that it might aid their worship, lift their spirits and inspire their devotion.
The verse was chosen by the church themselves; and written out by Bob Morris so we have the characters and spacing correct. We then designed it, checking with Bob that there were no obvious cultural taboos over particular colours or designs.
The banner is made of cotton backing fabric, quilted with polyester wadding and decorated with ribbons and braids. The lettering is machine stitched, the remainder is hand stitched.
